Indian stock markets recovered sharply from morning lows as IT stocks led the rally. The Sensex trimmed losses to trade down just 0.20 percent at 75,087.71, recovering nearly 640 points from its intraday low. The Nifty50 fell 0.28 percent to 23,577.55. Tech stocks drove the turnaround, with Tech Mahindra surging 4.08 percent, Bharti Airtel gaining 2.14 percent, and Infosys climbing 1.81 percent. However, metal and power stocks remained under pressure, with Power Grid Corporation dropping 4.02 percent and Tata Steel declining 3.83 percent. Banking stocks also struggled as State Bank of India fell 2.69 percent. Despite the recovery, broader market breadth remained negative, suggesting investor caution persists across the market.
