Riders can book air taxi services directly through the Uber app with a single tap, selecting the Joby aircraft option after entering their destination. The US launch depends on Federal Aviation Administration certification, which Joby's aircraft is in final stages of completing. Uber has conducted over 50,000 miles of flight tests to prepare for commercial operations.
