India's top-10 valued firms surge in market strength. Eight of the country's most valued companies saw their combined market capitalization jump by ₹1,87,497.45 crore during a holiday-shortened week, signaling robust investor confidence. Bharti Airtel led the charge with a remarkable ₹58,831.52 crore gain, bringing its valuation to ₹11,25,125.21 crore. The broader market momentum was evident as the BSE Sensex climbed 943.29 points and NSE Nifty gained 302.95 points. Analysts attributed the gains to easing geopolitical tensions and improving global risk sentiment, particularly optimism around potential US-Iran peace discussions. Domestically, stable fundamentals provided additional support. Other major gainers included LIC with ₹27,608.62 crore and TCS with ₹20,731.64 crore in valuation increases. However, HDFC Bank saw its market cap decline by ₹16,163.04 crore.
