Simon Global Insurance Group has established SXG Underwriting Limited, a newly approved Lloyd's coverholder managing general agent based in Hong Kong. This marks the first MGA and Lloyd's coverholder platform created by a Korean broking group, representing significant expansion of specialty underwriting capabilities across Asia. The MGA will initially focus on healthcare liability, including medical malpractice and life sciences risks such as pharmaceutical product liability and clinical trial liability, while also underwriting general liability and other specialty risks. The platform combines Lloyd's globally recognized security and financial strength with deep regional expertise, enabling flexible and tailored solutions for complex risks.
