FlixBus targets India as largest market by 2030. The Munich-headquartered travel-tech firm, which entered India in February 2024, expects the country to become its biggest market by passenger volume within five years. The company served 99 million passengers globally in 2025 and is already witnessing strong demand across Indian corridors. FlixBus operates in the premium air-conditioned intercity segment, where India's market alone exceeds combined European and US markets. Currently connecting over 300 cities through 1,800 stops via partnerships with 60 local fleet operators, the company plans 30 percent network expansion this summer. Key expansion focuses on Delhi-Dehradun corridor and high-demand routes connecting Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai.
