Galileo Mining advances Callisto discovery with diamond drilling. ASX-listed Galileo Mining has commenced diamond core drilling at its Callisto platinum group element deposit in Western Australia, marking a significant step in developing the Norseman project. The company has already defined 17.5 million tonnes of near-surface mineralisation and now seeks to identify stacked lodes at depth using existing geological structures. With more than 20 kilometres of prospective strike around Callisto and over 10 kilometres at the Mission Sill prospect, Galileo is positioned for potential additional discoveries. The initial drilling program, supported by up to $180,000 in Western Australian state funding through the exploration incentive scheme, will reach 600 metres depth with possible extensions.
