India's LPG prices hold steady as global oil pressures mount. Domestic cooking gas rates remained unchanged on April 24 across major cities despite rising international crude costs. A 14.2 kg cylinder costs between 910 and 1,002 rupees depending on location. However, commercial LPG faced steeper increases, with 19 kg cylinders jumping nearly 344 rupees combined since March, pressuring restaurants and businesses. Geopolitical tensions in West Asia have disrupted energy supplies through critical shipping routes. While petrol and diesel stayed relatively stable through government intervention, aviation fuel prices doubled to record levels. Premium petrol variants increased by 2.35 rupees per litre, and industrial diesel surged over 22 rupees per litre. The government offset airline fuel costs by allowing a 25 percent domestic airfare hike.
