Core Lithium secures $170M restart funding for Finniss project alongside Glencore and Nebari Natural Resources Credit Fund. The lithium miner has received Final Investment Decision approval to resume operations at its previously halted Finniss site. The restart package positions Finniss as a lower-cost, long-life brownfield operation targeting 214,000 tonnes per annum production capacity. Core projects the project will generate $1.1 billion in value with up to $1.7 billion in cash generation based on conservative long-term spodumene concentrate pricing of $1,500 per tonne. Glencore will provide access to its marketing platform while Core maintains flexibility on offtake agreements. Site works are commencing with first spodumene concentrate production targeted for September quarter 2026.
