Major Indian companies delivered mixed Q4 results today, April 17. Bajaj Consumer Care nearly doubled profits to 63.59 crore rupees, while Waaree Renewable surged over 66 percent year-on-year to 155.72 crore rupees. Angel One posted strong gains with profits up 19.2 percent quarter-on-quarter to 320.2 crore rupees. However, Wipro shares declined despite quarterly profits rising 12.3 percent to 3,501 crore rupees. HDFC Asset Management saw profits dip 2.4 percent annually but revenue climbed 17 percent to 1,051.51 crore rupees. Meanwhile, crude oil fell 322 rupees, gold gained 147 rupees, and silver jumped 3,667 rupees. Sensex and Nifty both advanced on the day as earnings season continues with more results expected from major financial and tech firms.
