Turaco Gold expands Afema project resource base. The ASX-listed miner has advanced its Afema gold project in Cote d'Ivoire through infill and extension drilling, growing the resource estimate to 4.65 million ounces, up 1.5 million ounces over the past year. Key drilling results include 28 metres at 2.17 grams per tonne gold and 40 metres at 1.20g/t gold. The company is operating five drilling rigs and expects to release a pre-feasibility study in June 2026, with a definitive feasibility study to follow. Additional gold mineralisation has been identified at the Bergerie and Sikasso prospects, signaling further resource growth potential beyond the current estimate and positioning Afema as a material-scale West African gold project.
