Axel REE advances critical minerals strategy in Brazil. The ASX-listed company is progressing field recovery trials at its Caladão project in Brazil's Lithium Valley, targeting trial mining in 2026. The company is pursuing in-situ recovery for rare earth extraction, a proven method already used for 70 percent of global ionic clay rare earth production. Caladão hosts 572 million tonnes of rare earth resources plus significant gallium potential, offering multi-commodity upside. ISR technology offers lower capital requirements, reduced environmental impact, and modular scalability compared to conventional mining. Woolrich has been identified as the first target wellfield, with metallurgical testing returning strong soluble rare earth grades up to 464ppm. This positions Axel REE to capitalize on growing critical minerals demand.
