SQM swings to profitability in 2025. Chilean mining company reports net income of US$588.1 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, a dramatic turnaround from a US$404.4 million loss in the prior year. Earnings per share reached US$2.06 compared to a loss of US$1.42 last year. Total revenues increased 1.0 percent to US$4.576 billion, while gross profit expanded to US$1.353 billion representing 29.6 percent of revenues. Fourth quarter results were particularly strong with net income of US$183.8 million, up 53 percent year-over-year. The recovery reflects record lithium sales volumes driven by strong market demand and a favorable pricing environment in iodine. SQM will discuss full results during a conference call on March 2, 2026.
