Tokio Marine Kiln strengthens liability underwriting team. The insurance firm has appointed George Leahy as Underwriter in its Liability division, reporting to Departmental Head Oliver Delaney. Leahy brings eight years of casualty underwriting expertise, most recently from Sompo International where he managed international casualty risks across heavy industry sectors in Canada and Australia. His background includes five years at Ascot Underwriting, where he developed specialist knowledge in Construction, Energy and Mining classes across multiple geographies including Europe and Latin America. The appointment reflects TMK's strategic commitment to reinforcing its market position and expanding its underwriting capabilities in the liability class during a period of growth for the firm.
