Reliance Retail Q4 shows resilience despite headwinds. The retail giant posted gross revenue of 98,232 crore, up 10.8 percent year-on-year, with strong operational momentum across its expanding store network. However, margin pressures persist as the company continues investing heavily in hyper-local commerce capabilities. EBITDA grew 3.1 percent to 6,921 crore, though margins compressed 60 basis points to 7.9 percent. The company added 333 stores to reach 20,160 outlets and saw customer transactions surge 62 percent. JioMart's hyper-local orders more than tripled year-on-year, while quick commerce platform Ajio Rush expanded to over 600 cities. Profit after tax rose marginally by 0.5 percent to 3,563 crore, reflecting the company's strategic focus on scaling digital channels over near-term profitability.
