MedSum generates hospital-ready clinical notes in real time while providing multilingual voice summaries to patients in Indian languages. Currently deployed across gynaecology, oncology, neurosurgery and paediatric neurology departments at Amrita Hospitals, the tool aims to reduce administrative burden on physicians and improve patient engagement. By automating documentation, doctors can dedicate more time to clinical care while ensuring accurate record-keeping and better patient understanding of medical advice.
