Japanese high school AI adoption surges to 73.7% according to new survey data. Junior high adoption reaches 43.2% and elementary students show 36.6% usage rates. The widespread integration of generative AI tools like ChatGPT into educational settings reflects significant shifts in how students approach learning. Additional uses include translation at 21.5% and creative writing at 20.3%, indicating diverse applications beyond academic support.
