Aegon nominates Marco Keim to a.s.r. Supervisory Board. The insurance giant, holding roughly 24 percent of the Dutch insurer, has put forward Keim as the replacement for Lard Friese, who is stepping down to focus on Aegon's strategic relocation of its headquarters to the United States. Keim, currently leading Aegon's international operations and serving on its Executive Committee, brings decades of financial services experience. He previously served as Chief Executive of Aegon's Netherlands business since joining in 2008. Shareholders will vote on the appointment at a.s.r.'s Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 20, 2026. If approved, Keim would take his seat immediately and serve until early July 2028. His appointment reflects the ongoing strategic shift within the Aegon group and strengthens governance representation at a.s.r.
