Nordic Resources discovers major gold expansion in Finland. The ASX-listed explorer has confirmed significant gold intersections at the Vesipera prospect within its Kiimala Trend project, located 40km north of its flagship Kopsa operation. All six initial assay results validate the drilling campaign, with highlight hits including 1.9m at 13.8 grams per tonne gold and 15.6m at 0.93 grams per tonne gold. The company notes mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, suggesting further expansion potential. Vesipera was previously considered a secondary target but now shows capacity to add substantial gold ounces to resources. With 147,000 ounces of indicated resources already at nearby Angesneva, Nordic Resources aims to establish a gold mini-district along the Kiimala Trend to complement its Kopsa project development strategy.
