Accelerate Resources strikes shallow gold at Balagundi. The ASX-listed explorer has confirmed further shallow gold potential following phase two drilling at its Paris Gift Trend near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Assay results identified oxide gold mineralisation with encouraging intercepts including 13 metres at 1.25 grams per tonne from surface and higher-grade zones reaching 11.48 grams per tonne. The 21-hole program totalling 1,720 metres has refined structural understanding across multiple mineralised zones. CEO Luke Meter highlighted the discovery of broad near-surface mineralisation alongside higher-grade intervals, supporting the prospectivity of the trend. Combined with earlier Delta Trend discovery and widespread alteration patterns, management sees attributes of a larger gold system.
