NHAI increases FASTag annual pass fee effective April 1, 2026. The National Highways Authority of India has announced a modest revision to the FASTag Annual Pass fee, raising it from Rs 3,000 to Rs 3,075 for the 2026-27 Financial Year. This adjustment aligns with the regulatory framework under the National Highways Fee Rules, 2008. The annual pass, which launched in August 2025, has already gained significant traction with over 56 lakh users adopting the facility. Motorists benefit from eliminating frequent recharges, as the one-time payment grants validity for one full year or 200 toll plaza crossings. The pass is available across approximately 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and Expressways. Activation remains streamlined through the Rajmarg Yatra app or NHAI website, with the pass becoming active within two hours of payment. The modest 2.
