Suzlon Energy shares surge on major wind order win. The renewable energy company's stock jumped over 3% after securing its sixth repeat order from state-owned GAIL for a 100 MW wind energy project in Maharashtra. This marks Suzlon's fourth PSU order in FY26, demonstrating strengthening momentum in the public sector segment. The company will install 47 S120 wind turbine generators rated at 2.1 MW each to support GAIL's petrochemical plant decarbonization efforts. With a 38% market share in Maharashtra and over 2.2 GW installed capacity, Suzlon continues expanding its PSU and corporate client portfolio, which now represents over 64% of its order book. The partnership with GAIL spans 15 years across multiple states.
