Dynamic Metals commences diamond drilling at Cognac West gold prospect in Western Australia , testing for gold-copper mineralisation beneath previous RC drilling. The four-hole program receives up to $175,000 in co-funding from the Western Australian government Exploration Incentive Scheme. Managing director Karen Wellman stated the drilling marks an important milestone, designed to improve geological understanding of the structurally complex corridor and test deeper system potential. Cognac West has demonstrated strong surface gold anomalism with peak rock chip assay results reaching 2,040 g/t. Historic drilling from the 1990s intercepted one metre at 91.3 g/t from 41 metres depth. The company completed extensive soil sampling and geological mapping in 2024 to refine higher-grade zones.
