India's GPU infrastructure is accelerating rapidly as Yotta Data Services builds a $2 billion AI hub powered by Nvidia's chips. The Mumbai-based company controls 60 to 70 percent of India's GPU capacity and says demand significantly exceeds current supply. Major global AI companies including OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft are investing billions in Indian data centers as they expand services to the country's massive user base. Yotta plans to raise $1.2 to $1.5 billion in a pre-IPO funding round and go public within 12 months. India's total data center capacity is projected to nearly double from 1.93 gigawatts in 2025 to approximately 4 gigawatts by 2028, signaling substantial infrastructure growth ahead.
