Drone delivery startup Skye Air secures $9 million in Series B funding to accelerate last-mile delivery expansion. Led by IAN Alpha Fund with support from AVNM Ventures, Faad Capital, and Bajaj Capital, the capital will close in two tranches over the coming months. The Delhi NCR-based company operates a fleet of 33 drones and currently serves 12 major clients including Flipkart and Bluedart through its B2B2C model. Skye Air plans to expand beyond its established Gurugram operations into Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and major metros including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. The fresh capital will fund technology development with focus on physical AI capabilities. The company has validated its unit economics in Gurugram with 60 operational sky pods and is now positioned to scale its time-definite delivery services across India's growing logistics sector.
