Cerebras gains major credibility as Oracle names it alongside Nvidia and AMD as a key AI chip supplier. During Oracle's earnings call, CEO Clay Magouyrk confirmed the cloud giant is integrating Cerebras chips into its infrastructure, marking a significant validation for the chipmaker pursuing an IPO. This partnership addresses a critical vulnerability from Cerebras' previous prospectus, which showed dangerous customer concentration with one Middle East firm accounting for 87 percent of revenue. The Oracle deal follows a $10 billion commitment from OpenAI announced in January and collaboration on Codex-Spark, an AI model for software development. With $1.1 billion in recent funding at an $8.1 billion valuation, Cerebras appears well-positioned for its delayed public market debut, having withdrawn its initial IPO filing last October.
