ACME Solar achieves major energy storage milestone. The renewable energy company has operationalised over 2 GWh of battery storage capacity in Rajasthan, positioning itself as one of India's leading energy storage providers. The achievement drove shares up 1.65 percent to 301.15 rupees on Wednesday. With a total operational capacity of 591.18 MW across subsidiaries, ACME Solar targets 10 GWh by 2027. The company's stock has surged 22 percent monthly and 27 percent year-to-date, significantly outperforming the Nifty 500. Market capitalisation now stands at approximately 18,255 crore rupees. The battery systems charge during off-peak hours and discharge during peak demand, enhancing grid stability.
