AML3D achieves major defence milestone with portable ARCEMY deployment. The Australian industrials company successfully installed its first containerised portable ARCEMY system at the US Navy Additive Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Virginia, triggering the final AU$1.2 million payment from Austal USA. The portable unit can be redeployed in just one to two days compared to two to three weeks for fixed systems, offering significant operational flexibility. This deployment strengthens AML3D's US defence strategy amid a Letter of Intent suggesting potential for up to one hundred additive manufacturing systems by 2030. Recent wins include a AU$9.9 million order from Newport News Shipbuilding for four ARCEMY X systems and a AU$2.61 million contract for US Navy submarine components, demonstrating consistent momentum in the defence sector.
