Waratah Minerals strikes gold expansion success. ASX-listed Waratah Minerals reports significant drilling results expanding its Spur and Consols gold systems in New South Wales. Latest assay results from six diamond drill holes demonstrate substantial gold mineralisation across both zones, with standout intercepts including 36.35 metres at 2.32 grams per tonne from Spur and multiple high-grade hits from Consols reaching up to 8.46 grams per tonne. Managing Director Peter Duerden stated the consistent results across multiple drill holes confirm the Spur project hosts a major gold system comparable to world-class deposits globally. The company is deploying five drill rigs at Consols and two at Spur, systematically testing shallow extensions and building datasets for mineral resource estimation. WTM shares responded positively, gaining 9.35 percent to 67.
