India has emerged as KitKat's largest global market for Nestlé, surpassing its previous second-place position held for the past two to three years. This milestone reflects the brand's accelerated growth trajectory in one of the world's most dynamic consumer markets. A decade ago, India ranked tenth globally for the chocolate wafer brand. The achievement stems from strong consumer penetration, strategic product innovation across mainstream and premium segments, and substantial marketing investments. Nestlé India has introduced new variants including KitKat Delights with Salted Caramel and Hazelnut, alongside innovations like KitKat DUO and Lemon and Lime flavors. The company expanded into new categories with KitKat Celebreak for gifting and KitKat Pops for nibbling. KitKat now ranks as Nestlé's second-largest global brand by market, following Maggi.
