Korea mobilizes 8 billion won emergency export support as Middle East tensions escalate. The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency launched an emergency voucher program to help Korean exporters navigate rising logistics costs and trade disruptions caused by escalating conflicts involving the United States, Israel and Iran. The initiative allocates funds to support companies experiencing shipping delays, payment risks and operational challenges in the region. Eligible companies can receive up to 150 million won in assistance with fast-track reviews completed within three days. Applications open Wednesday. With over 14,000 Korean companies operating across the Middle East, representing approximately 14 percent of all exporters, the region remains strategically important despite accounting for only 3 percent of Korea's total exports.
