India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is accelerating the nation's seafood export ambitions through strategic high-level engagements. In a meeting with the Consultative Committee on Marine Products Promotion, Goyal discussed scaling value addition, boosting global competitiveness, and strengthening compliance standards to unlock new opportunities for India's seafood sector. The minister also met with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics leadership to deepen manufacturing partnerships and expand India's aviation ecosystem. These initiatives align with India's broader goal to become the world's leading agro and marine exporter. Currently ranking seventh globally in agricultural and marine exports, India is positioning itself as a critical manufacturing hub in the Indo-Pacific region through enhanced investment partnerships and supply chain integration.
