Maruti Suzuki India reports strong February growth. India's largest automaker posted a 7.32% increase in total sales, reaching 2,13,995 units in February 2026 compared to 1,99,400 units a year earlier. Domestic passenger vehicle sales grew marginally to 1,61,000 units, while utility vehicles surged significantly to 72,756 units from 65,033 units previously. The compact car segment declined to 66,386 units against 72,942 units last year. Notably, exports jumped substantially to 39,155 units from 25,021 units, demonstrating strong international demand. The company continues optimizing production to reduce waiting periods across its model range, positioning itself well in the competitive Indian automotive market.
