LPG supply crisis threatens India's hospitality sector. The Confederation of All India Traders has urgently appealed to Madhya Pradesh authorities to restore limited commercial LPG cylinder supplies to prevent complete shutdown of hotels, restaurants, and food services in Bhopal. The West Asia conflict and Strait of Hormuz closure have severely disrupted crude oil and petroleum product supplies across the country. Without immediate relief, thousands of livelihoods face collapse and the city's food supply system could be disrupted. Business owners cannot quickly switch to alternative cooking methods, as induction systems require seven to ten days delivery and increased power capacity, while wood-fired cooking is impractical for modern kitchens.
