India accelerates EFTA trade pact implementation efforts with Switzerland. The India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement, operational since October 2025, is already delivering measurable results. Within 200 days of implementation, new Indian product lines have penetrated the Swiss market, services trade momentum has accelerated, and investment interest has strengthened significantly. India's exports to Switzerland exceeded 1.2 billion dollars in 2025-2026, while services exports reached 6.88 billion dollars in 2024 with a substantial 4.25 billion dollar surplus. Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal emphasized the need for early resolution of implementation challenges during recent Switzerland discussions to ensure businesses fully capitalize on the agreement's benefits.
