Foreign institutional investors continued offloading equities, withdrawing Rs 5,834.90 crore on Wednesday. Geopolitical uncertainties and unabated foreign fund outflows weighed on sentiment as investors awaited clarity on international developments. Among major losers were Hindustan Unilever, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Titan, and Sun Pharma, while Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, and Kotak Mahindra Bank posted gains. Crude oil fell 2.23 percent to USD 99 per barrel, reflecting broader market weakness.
