Supreme Court orders time-bound probe into Reliance Anil Ambani Group irregularities. The apex court directed central investigative agencies to conduct a fair and transparent investigation into alleged financial misconduct linked to RAAG. A Special Investigation Team was constituted in February 2026 to examine multiple cases. The ED has launched investigations into eight cases with documents already seized, flagging a suspected scheme where insolvency claims worth approximately 2,983 crore were allegedly settled for just 26 crore. The CBI is actively investigating seven cases, including five recent FIRs, with alleged wrongful losses totaling around 73,006 crore across multiple cases. The court stressed the need for coordinated efforts between senior officials of both agencies to uncover any irregularities or collusion.
