India's AI job market surges with 15-20 percent annual growth as the IT sector undergoes significant transformation. Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced at the CII Annual Business Summit that demand for AI-related positions is accelerating rapidly across the country. The minister emphasized the need for industry collaboration with Nasscom to develop skilled talent for emerging technological opportunities. Simultaneously, India is attracting substantial foreign investment, with approximately USD 200 billion flowing into the data centre economy following government tax incentives extended until 2047. The nation is also constructing three major subsea cable networks connecting India to Australia, the US, Europe, and the Middle East, strengthening digital infrastructure.
