Ecoright, founded by IIM Calcutta alumni Nikita Barmecha and Udit Sood, has scaled to ₹14.08 crore by making sustainable products accessible to mainstream consumers. The sustainable bags brand uses organic cotton, jute, and recycled PET to create affordable everyday carry solutions. Starting with tote bags in 2019, Ecoright identified a market gap where eco-friendly products were either expensive or lacked design quality. The company now offers over 300 SKUs across multiple bag categories, positioning sustainability as a default choice rather than a niche option. Revenue grew approximately 60 percent from ₹8.82 crore in FY24 to ₹14.08 crore, driven by a diversified sales strategy where marketplaces account for 53 percent of sales, quick commerce contributes 27 percent, and their own website generates 16 percent.
